Gregory Mark Allen

Gregory Mark Allen was born on July 25, 1968, to the later George Allen Jr. and Elizabeth E. Allen. Greg transitioned [peacefully to his heavenly home at the age of 56 on Monday September 30, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was surrounded by his family whom he loved dearly. Greg received his education in the Baltimore City school system, graduating from Walbrook High School. Greg began his career at the Sheraton Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked for 3 years before going into the jewelry business. For several years, Greg was the top salesperson in the jewelry business, and then was introduced to Real Estate which helped lay the groundwork for his future achievements. Grerg quickly became one of the top Real Estate Agents in Baltimore and the surrounding Maryland area. After several years in the real estate industry. Greg furthered his education and obtained his GRI which stands for (Graduate Realtor institute). After receiving this elite accreditation, he continued to follow his dream by becoming a Real Estate Broker and on June 2, 2017, Greg Allen started his company Change Realty where he continued to build a successful, thriving business as a real estate broker and developer. With over 30 years in business, Greg was passionate about helping others become homeowners especially in the urban community. Greg was a proud member of the NAREB (National Association of Real estate Brokers) and served as President of GBBR (Geater Baltimore Board of Realtors). Greg fought for equality and his strength and resilience will live on through the lives he touched. In his early twenties, one of the greatest days in Greg's life was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, it changed his life forever and he loved sharing the love of Jesus with whomever he encountered. His hobbies and interests included baseball, watching the Ravens, eating crabs, dancing, grilling, playing funny pranks on his Mom and other family members and loving life! Greg had an unwavering compassion and love for his family and one of his greatest joys was becoming a father, raising his beloved son Malcome and taking care of his late mother and grandmother. God and Family were the core of Greg's life. Greg and his legacy are survived by his fiancé Linda Tyler, his son Malcome Allen, sister Lisa Allen-LaPrade, brothers George Allen III (Tamara) and William Trayham, nephew Matthew LaPrade, nieces Mischa and Le'shae, Great Aunt Eva Maynard, Uncle John (Arlene) and Aunt Bernice, bonus daughter Nikia Shaw and bonus grandchildren Dehron, Kahrelle, Tykira (Sade), Cyrus and a host of other family and friends. There was a special bond he had with his "favorite" cousins Rene' Pinkney-Parks and Patricia Pinkney who were more like his bonus sisters. Those laughs will be forever in our hearts..
