Ogbuenyi Chukwuma Athanasius Okoh, fondly known as Chuky or Ogbuenyi Chuks, was born on May 10, 1965 into a loving family in Illah, Delta State, Nigeria. As the eldest of three boys, he embraced his role with natural grace and responsibility, setting an example of humility and calmness that would define his life. His childhood was marked by warmth, discipline, and a strong sense of community: From an early age, he demonstrated quiet strength and a gentle spirit, qualities that endeared him to family and friends alike. Ogbuenyi Chuks began his education at Ubueni Primary school, Ebu, before proceeding to Saint Patrick College (SPC) Asaba for his secondary studies, His academic excellence and leadership qualities shone through, paving the way for his admission to the University of Benin, where he earned a degree in Microbiology. He started his professional career in Nigeria working with indigenous pharmaceutical companies, before moving to Israel to broaden his horizons. Later, he migrated to the United States, settling in Baltimore. There, he reinvented his career path, becoming a Registered Nurse and eventually earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. His professional Journey reflected resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to service. A dedicated Christian and active member of his church, Chuks lived his faith through service and compassion. His desire to uplift others began in his youth as a Boy Scout, later serving as President of the Rotaract Club in college, and continuing through various leadership roles in organizations he belonged to. He was deeply respected in every community he touched, known for his integrity, kindness, and unwavering selflessness. Ogbuenyi Chuks' greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Linda, and a Loving father to his children, Isioma and Chuma. As a brother, uncle and friend, he was a source of strength, encouragement, and unconditional love. His calm personality, soft laughter, and forgiving nature made him a true gentleman. He carried no grudges and had no space for hatred in his heart. On December 26, 2025, at the age of 60, Ogbuenyi Chuks departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of humility, service, and love. Those who knew him will remember his unwavering kindness and his belief that true wealth lies not in material possessions, but in the love we give, the respect we show, and the lives we touch. His Life remains a shining example of integrity, humbleness, calmness, compassion, and devotion, His memory will forever live on in his family, his community, and all who had the privilege of knowing him Though he is no longer with us in body, the values he lived by and the love he shared will endure forever and continue to inspire us his family May his gentle soul Rest In Perfect Peace.
