Tracy Rene Martin

TRACY RENE MARTIN, a remarkable woman who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 56, left behind a legacy of love, support, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Tracy, born in Baltimore, Maryland, was one of three siblings born to Elneray Martin and George Louis. She attended Western High School and later graduated from Northwestern High School in 1987. Despite never marrying or having children of her own, Tracy’s heart was filled with love for her family. After her older sister Gloria’s passing in 1996, she took on the responsibility of raising her nephew and niece, Craig and Marsha, with her mother, Elneray Martin. Tracy’s life was a vibrant tapestry of family, close friends, and self care hobbies. She found joy in exploring the city with friends, visiting restaurants, shops, sporting events, and indulging in relaxing spa treatments. One of her favorite hobbies was Art; she made several pieces. Tracy enjoyed playing with colors to make them more vibrant. Her expertise in customer service shone through when she worked at State Street Bank’s Visa Call Center Department. Later, she transitioned to Care First Blue Cross and Blue Shield from February 2000 until her passing. When she was home, Tracy’s favorite pastimes included watching her favorite shows like Law and Order, Martin, Fresh Prince, and Walker Texas Ranger. She also loved listening to the music of her favorite artist, including Earth, Wind, and Fire, Stevie Wonder, and Richard Smallwood. Shopping was another hobby that she cherished, often making it a lengthy and enjoyable activity, regardless of what she was looking for. Tracy had a discerning taste in food, clothing, and decor. She took great pride in her style. Religion played a significant role in Tracy’s life. She was a devoted member of Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she participated in the choir and bulletin board ministries. Despite her introverted nature, she actively attended various Bible studies, lock-ins, anniversaries, and special occasions, fostering a sense of fellowship and embodying the teachings of Matthew 5:5. We cherish the memory of her mother, Elneray Martin who preceded her in death. Tracy is survived by her sister, Kathy Martin; her nieces and nephews, Craig, Jerrell, Terence, Marsha, Djuan, Jamal, and Krystian; great nieces and nephews, and a vast network of cousins. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her, her legacy of love, support, and unwavering dedication will continue to inspire generations to come.
