Joshua Crowe

Joshua Lee Micah Crowe, youngest son of A. Curtis and Dana Green Crowe, was born on October 29, 2001, in Baltimore, Maryland. At 22 years young, on March 19, 2024, he was called to rest. “Josh” or “Joshy” was raised with four siblings, and they were blessed to form an unbreakable bond. From early on, Josh gained notoriety for his wit, finesse, charm, and fearlessness. He began his educational journey at Leith Walk Elementary School, which he grew to love. During his time there, Josh’s “player” instincts began to peak. Josh is still the youngest person known to have the highest number of girlfriends at one time (7 to be exact). He often spoke of the good times and friends he had growing up at 1045 Reverdy Road in Baltimore City. The family eventually moved to Baltimore County, where Josh attended Halstead Elementary, Loch Raven Academy, and Parkville High schools. He also attended Job Corps for one year. Josh is known to be a courageous warrior who never turned away from a fight. His approach to those he loved was unfiltered, honest, and passionate and has left an everlasting, tremendous impact in the lives of many who knew/know him. He is private, misunderstood, and good at masking his pain, yet his kind, giving, thoughtful, and sympathetic nature would shine through. Josh is remembered for his humor, charisma, playful spirit, and immeasurable strength. Whatever the encounter - talks/texts, outings, Xbox or PlayStation gameplay, paintball or pool matches, watching Scarface or a scary movie, fights, or football, rolling dice, smoke sessions, or “draggin’ in these streets” - Josh will be immensely missed by ALL! Josh was preceded in death by one grandmother, Janet D. Green; one grandfather, Robert S. Dillon; one uncle, Derwin L. Waldron; one aunt, Denise Crowe; nine great uncles, Keith D. Green, John N. Traynham, James D. Dillon, Louis C. Dillon, Frederick Dillon, Rev. David Dillon, Richard W. Crowe-Cheppell Sr., Calvin Quill, and Ellis Boston; and 3 great-aunts, Letitia Dillon Page, Betty Brown, and Ula Butts. Left to honor Josh’s memory are his parents, A. Curtis V. and Dana M. Green Crowe; four siblings, Nakya T. Jenkins, Deja N. J. Wilson (Jordan), Cameron N. J. Crowe (Myria), Aniyah N. D. Crowe (Destin); three nieces, Aubrii, Auria, and Anorra; three nephews, Anthony, Jayden, and Jeremiah; one grandmother, Denzil G. Williams Waldron, one grandfather, Miles D. Crowe, one great-aunt Jessica "Tauntie" Henry, two aunts, Delena Pratt (Donald) and Dionne Waldron McNeal (Timothy); five uncles, Darian Waldron, Christopher Waldron Sr. (Tricia), Robert Woods, Miles Woods, and Man Robinson; a host of other relatives, and close family friends.
