Ms. Darlene Denise McClain, of Baltimore, Maryland died on July 7, 2020 at the age of 58. Darlene was born on March 29, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born to James McClain and Mary Lollis McClain. She spent lots of time with her brothers’ and sisters’: Curtis James, Kevin McClain, Douglas McClain, Yvonne McClain and Yvette McClain. She was a proud graduate of Dunbar High School, where she made sure that she showed her Poet Pride. She was a wonderful mother to two sons, Donte’ Foster and Jamal Foster. She was also the grandmother to Diana Foster, CJ Foster, Sean Wells, Kennedy Foster and Kamryn Foster. She was the beloved Aunt to Tonisha, Jyn-nay, Shanese, Daryl, Lorisa, William, Alan, Iz’aiah, Nicole, Jammeel, Jackie, Ann, Kevin, Ariel, Aaron and Christina. Darlene dearly loved and one of her proudest accomplishments was helping to take care of her favorite aunt, Aunt Francis Goines. Darlene went to school to become a nurse and although she did not end up with a job in that field, she used her talents to help others in her community. Darlene was an avid football watcher. She always had a love for her Dallas Cowboys that she routed for religiously. She will be missed in all the days to come. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you take the time to text your loved ones often to say, “I love you!”
