CHRISTOPHER FRANKLYN BALDWIN SR. was born in Baltimore, MD to Ernestine (Loggins) Streat and Foster Baldwin Sr. on August 2, 1972. Unexpectantly, Chris became ill on October 29, 2023. Sadly, on November 27, 2023, at 9:54 pm, Chris took his final breath and gained his wings, much too soon for everyone who knew and loved him! Chris was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1990. While at Woodlawn, he played Varsity Basketball and was a pure shooter. (smile) There he met his future wife, Nicole (Redmond) a Varsity Cheerleader. Chris was an avid sports enthusiast, watching college or professional teams. His favorite all-time athlete was Michael Jordan, as most would know. Of course, he loved the hometown teams and either watched or sometimes attended both Baltimore Orioles and Ravens games. He still cheered on his childhood football team, the San Francisco 49ers whenever they played as well. December of last year, he attended his first Washington Capitals hockey game. Chris loved cooking, traveling, tennis shoes, watching movies and various television shows. As well as, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Any event - cookout/cooknic, baby shower, birthday or retirement party - he was guaranteed to do his patented two-step or use his “sentence enhancers” to tell a story to get everyone laughing! Chris had an infectious smile, deep voice and laugh that drew people to him. He was always willing to help anyone, and he would sometimes complain the entire time while doing whatever was asked of him. Chris left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him! His presence will be greatly missed by all! Chris leaves to mourn his wife, Nicole; two children, his daughter, Jordan and his son, Chris Jr.; stepdaughter, Cierra Jones, his granddaughter, Kyle Roberts; his mother, Ernestine (Loggins) Streat; his sister, Michelle Baldwin-Fennell; his brother, Foster Baldwin Jr.; a brother-in-law, sister in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews, along with extended family members, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father Foster Baldwin Sr., brother Adrian “Buttons” Baldwin Sr. and stepfather Joseph “Pete” Streat Jr.
