Annie Reddick

Annie Marie Reddick was born April 28, 1932 in LaGrange, North Carolina. She quietly slipped away on March 15, 2020. Annie was the child of Raymond and Mattie Sutton. She attended school and worked on her parent’s farm while growing up in Kinston, NC. Annie met James Reddick at Holly Grove Church, they married and Annie and James had five children. Annie and James relocated to Baltimore Md. and Annie worked as a Housekeeper at Eklof & Co. for many decades. Annie was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother and was truly loved and admired by all. Annie enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family and traveling to North Carolina for some holidays. Almost daily, Annie relaxed while reading the Newspaper and magazines. She was the neighborhood watcher and often looked out the window to watch the children while they played. Annie was a member of Living Water Church for several years and was one of the Mothers of the church. She served faithfully by sharing her wisdom, love and kindness and her great smile with others. She later attended Full of Faith Ministry with her daughter Betty, who was her faithful caregiver. Annie enjoyed attending Life Bridge Adult Day Care and socializing on day trips and scenic rides. Annie was kind, gentle, meek, humble and wisdom filled from her life experiences. She always smiled and didn’t let anything worry her. She leaves behind to mourn her four children, Cecil Reddick, Debbie Davis, Anthony Reddick and Betty Burrell; Granddaughters, Corinthia Brooks (Damon), Tracey Gray; Grandsons, Kenneth Burrell, Edward Burrell and James Reddick Jr.; Great Grandchildren, Corina Brooks, Damon Brooks Jr., Dau’huan Gray, Khaleed Gray, Michael Gray; Great- Great Grandchildren, Kyle Burrell, Ryan Burrell, Naveah Burrell, Destiny Burrell, Dalante’ Burrell, Tyhaze and Maxuell Elias Garnett; three brothers –in law, Bishop Johnnie Reddick, Linwood Reddick (Lois), Robert Reddick ( Bettie) and two sisters in law, Thelma Reddick and Tina Wade and host of other relatives and friends. Annie was preceded in death by her daughter Charmaine Reddick and husband James Reddick
